Former New York Giants kicker Josh Brown says he never hit his wife

Former New York Giants kicker Josh Brown said that he has never hit his now ex-wife Molly Brown in an interview on ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday.

Brown was arrested in May 2015 on suspicion of domestic assault in the fourth degree. However, no charges were filed. The NFL suspended the kicker for just one game last August for what it called a moment. Last October documents, including letters, emails and journals where Brown admitted that he had physically, verbally, and emotionally abused his wife were released.

The Giants, who signed Brown to a two-year $4 million deal last April even though they knew he was being investigated for domestic abuse, cut the kicker after the documents were released.
