Even so, when you’re a Super Bowl favorite, playing on your frozen home field, you’re expected to make it to the big game. Since that didn’t happen, changes are in order, and the Chiefs opened the door for a big one by firing defensive coordinator Bob Sutton.
It was a move that was not unexpected. Even if Sutton had done a great job all season, his defense’s performance in the AFC Championship game was abysmal.
