Former Giants’ Kicker Blanchard Dies Suddenly In Texas

Former New York Giants’ place kicker, Cary Blanchard, died suddenly on Sept. 6 in Texas. The sad news was reported by the athletics communications office at Oklahoma State University in a statement on Sept. 7, 2016.

Blanchard played in ten games for the New York Giants in 1999. He was signed to replaced Brad Daluiso, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee, according to the New York Post on Oct. 19, 1999.
