Everyone has an opinion, even those who contributed to the Giants being mired in the mess they are in.
Marc Ross, the Giants’ former vice president of player evaluation, said Tuesday it is time to bench Eli Manning and move on from the 37-year-old franchise quarterback — even though Ross came close to openly mocking the player the Giants would select to replace Manning.
“I think that’s what you have to do,’’ Ross said on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” show. “This is where they are right now. Their fortunes are tied to Kyle Lauletta, who was drafted in the fourth round out of Richmond.
