First-round pick Eli Apple down, Landon Collins up in Giants' win

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants did a lot of good things Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. And then they had to hold on for dear life in a 28-23 victory.

Without the benefit of film review, here’s who was “up” and who was “down” from the Giants’ win at MetLife Stadium:

UP

LB Keenan Robinson -- He had 10 tackles on defense, but none were his most important tackle of the game. Robinson made perhaps the game’s biggest and best play when he tracked down the speedy Darren Sproles at the Giants 15-yard line on a punt return.
