EAST RUTHERFORD -- The first scuffle of Giants training camp broke out during the fifth practice of the summer on Monday, following a contentious spring's worth of OTA and minicamp practices that saw plenty of fights break out between the offensive and defensive linemen.
Early during Monday's session, with the offense primarily working on running drills, running back Wayne Gallman took a handoff off tackle and turned the corner just before outside linebacker Olivier Vernon suplexed him which sparked a scuffle as both the offense and defense engaged in pushing and shoving along the far sideline.
