Film review: What kind of player are the Giants getting in Kentucky RT George Asafo-Adjei?

After the New York Giants didn’t sign a right tackle in free agency, it was long expected that one of their first three selections in the 2019 NFL Draft would be used to add a right tackle. The idea was that a highly drafted rookie would provide a long-term answer for the line, hopefully solidifying it for the near future.

That didn’t happen, either.

Instead, the Giants waited until their ninth pick in the draft, 232nd overall, to finally add an offensive tackle. And while they looked to a Kentucky Wildcats team that produced several draftees on the defensive side of the ball, George Asafo-Adjei was largely unknown by the world at large.
