The New York Giants failed to add an offensive lineman in the 2024 NFL Draft. Some fans expressed dismay that Joe Schoen and the Giants did not make a young investment into an offensive line room that has significantly struggled for the better half of a decade.
Schoen added five veteran free-agent offensive linemen, and two undrafted free agents were added after the draft: Missouri’s Marcellus Johnson and North Dakota State’s Jake Kubas.
Johnson is a 6-foot-4, 313-pound offensive lineman with 10-inch hands, 33¼-inch arms, and an 83¼-inch wingspan. He played four years at Eastern Michigan before transferring to Missouri, where he was a swing offensive lineman who played only 84 snaps for the Tigers.
