FB Will Johnson signs with New York Giants, per reports

The New York Giants have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers fullback Will Johnson to a two-year contract, according to a report from Josina Anderson of ESPN.

This is an interesting move, and hardly the one anyone might have expected as the first free agent signing of an offensive player by the Giants this offseason. Johnson, 26, played in 63 games for the Steelers the past four years. He has 31 careeer receptions, with 15 of those coming as a rookie in 2012. Johnson has eight career carries for 14 yards.

Johnson, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, has reportedly been used as an H-Back and on special teams by the Steelers.
