Welcome to Week 6! A funny thing happened in Week 5. Even with four teams on Bye and lots of prominent players injured, fantasy scoring finally blew up. I’m sure you saw it in your league’s scoring – triple digits are back! Fantasy scoring follows NFL scoring, and that metric continued an upward trend in Week 5. For the second straight week, 10 NFL teams scored 29 or more points, after just nine did so in Weeks 1 and 2 combined. After five games, NFL teams are averaging 22.1 points per game, which is slightly higher than scoring was in both 2022 and 2023.
