More than the headaches and the intense pain behind his eyes, more than the frustration of not being there to help his teammates and watching the Giants lose the past two games while he watched from his couch, Justin Pugh was most upset by the insults lobbed at him.
On Twitter, the 25-year-old, third-year offensive tackle was called soft, a bad teammate. And he seethed about the labels.
“That [ticks] me off,” Pugh said on Thursday after he practiced for the second straight day since missing nearly a month with the first concussion of his career.
