The hoodie is no more. And former Giants great wide receiver James Jones is OK with it.
Jones, you may remember, is the veteran pass catcher the Giants brought in during training camp last summer. He had a good preseason for the Giants, and was in the mix to earn a roster spot. But he instead talked his way into being released, and then flew directly to Green Bay to join his former team, the Packers, who needed receiver help.
Jones then proceeded to put together a strong 2015 season (50 catches, 890 yards, eight touchdowns) keyed by a red-hot first few weeks, while Preston Parker dropped the ball all over the place and everybody in the tri-state area made a bunch of jokes on Twitter, this reporter included.
