Former New York Giants safety Kamrin Moore was cleared of domestic violence charges when a Union County, New Jersey grand jury declined to indict.
Moore, 23, has moved for reinstatement to the NFL. He was placed on the suspended list after charges were filed early in the summer. The Giants released Moore during final cuts.
Moore had been charged with third-degree aggravated assault after allegedly punching a woman, knocking her unconscious and stepping on her neck. Those claims by the victim were vehemently objected to by Moore's team since his arrest.
"We have continually asserted Kamrin's innocence from the outset of this ordeal and believed that it was only a matter of time before he would be vindicated of these fabricated charges through the course of due process.
