Ex-Giant Chris Snee gets new opportunity with Tom Coughlin

Chris Snee estimates he watched more film during his decade with the Giants than anyone other than Eli Manning. He always figured he would stay in the game, and he has. Snee has been hired as a college scout by the Jaguars, the team run by his father-in-law, Tom Coughlin.

This is the direction Snee anticipated heading. What caught him off guard, though, is what he perceives as a lack of interest by the Giants after he retired as a player.

Hip surgeries and especially an elbow injury forced Snee to step away in July 2014 after 10 exemplary seasons as the starting right guard — he is already a member of the team’s Ring of Honor.
