After months of run-up and relatively friendly trash talk, the Giants' present and past will meet on the softball diamond Friday night in the Landon Collins Celebrity Softball Game.
The charity event, headlined by the Giants' star safety and organized by Giants super fan Joe "License Plate Guy" Ruback, will pit the current Giants against players from their Super Bowl XLII and XLVI championship teams. That squad will be captained by former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs.
"It's a big thing for everybody to come out to get to meet some players to know that we love them as much as they love us and just to get some interaction," Collins said.
