PHILADELPHIA -- This isn’t 2007 or 2011. It isn’t even 2013 or ’15.
These New York Giants can’t even capitalize on a vintage Eli Manning performance in the first half. Instead, they allowed a 14-point halftime lead to slip away in a 23-17 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday night.
This is as bad a Giants (2-11) team as there has been during the Manning era. He's never been part of a team that's lost nine straight games, which these Giants have while tying a franchise record set in 1976.
