While he did surrender a sack that had New York Giants fans online shredding the third-year right tackle, Evan Neal said he had “fun” Saturday night in his first game action since an ankle injury ended his 2023 season.
“It was great,” Neal said of playing against the New York Jets. “It was just fun to go out there and play football with the guys.”
Neal played 21 snaps before leaving the game. He was announced as having left the game with an injury to his surgically-repaired ankle, but Neal downplayed that.
