HOUSTON -- Giants tight end Evan Engram was seen wearing a fairly substantial brace on his right knee, and walking gingerly out of the locker room following Sunday's 27-22 victory over the Houston Texans.
"We don't know how bad it is yet," Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said after the game. "We'll just have to see."
Engram was knocked from the game early in the second quarter when Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson delivered a blow with his helmet to Engram's knee while making a tackle along the sideline.
Prior to suffering the injury on Sunday, Engram caught one pass for 19 yards.
