Evan Engram lone positive in Giant loss

There weren’t many positives to take away from yesterday’s 35-17 drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys; Evan Engram was one of them. The third-year tight-end exploded for 116 yards on 11 catches and a touchdown in the loss.

In what was (sadly) the high-water mark of the game for Big Blue, Engram hauled in a one-yard touchdown reception from Eli Manning to put the Giants up 7-0 early in the first quarter. Engram did a solid job of disguising his intentions at the beginning of the play-action rep, causing Leighton Vander-Esch to hesitate just enough for him to blow right past the line-backer.
