The second-player injured his hamstring in warm-ups last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. In Engram’s absence last week, veteran Rhett Ellison had four catches on six targets, according to Pro Football Reference. Ellison’s receiving total of 77 yards is better than Evan Engram’s best game for the New York Giants this season, so don’t expect a drop off.
Inside linebacker B.J. Goodson will also miss the contest with a neck injury, according to the New York Giants official injury report.
Look for Nate Stupar and Tae Davis to take additional snaps this week filling in for Goodson, as Davis (ankle) practiced fully on Friday.
