The Giants' big spending is being greeted favorably by pundits ... for now, months before taking the field. A panel of analysts put them near the top of ESPN's "Free-agency grades for all 32 teams."
The marks were compiled by former general managers Bill Polian and Mark Dominik, ex-front office executive Louis Riddick, former scout Field Yates and writer Mike Sando.
After their high-profile signings of defensive end Olivier Vernon, defensive tackle Damon Harrison and cornerback Janoris Jenkins, the Giants received a B+ from the ESPN panel.
