Chris Berman helped build ESPN into an empire.
With the former lead NFL host done as a full-time star on the station, ESPN announced how it will replace his work. It will take three sportscasters to do the job Berman handled.
Trey Wingo, Suzy Kolber and Samantha Ponder--wife of NFL quarterback Christian Ponder--will assume the NFL studio-hosting duties at ESPN.

We have three exceptional hosts in Suzy, Sam and Trey, who will usher in this new era of NFL studio coverage on ESPN," said Stephanie Druley, ESPN Senior Vice President, Studio and Event Production.
