Ereck Flowers still doesn’t get it

Ereck Flowers doesn’t like how his time with the Giants went either.

But Flowers — the much-maligned offensive lineman who was released in October 2018 after three-plus disastrous seasons — says he is still puzzled by how he was perceived in New York.

“If you read about me, you’d swear I was this villain,” Flowers told NJ.com. “A lot of people don’t know me, so maybe some people have some built-up opinion about me.”

The 25-year-old Flowers is now with his third team (the Redskins) and playing at his third position (left guard), where he is expected to start in Washington’s season opener Sunday against the Eagles.
