Eli Manning has done it so often - if not recently - that when he steps onto the field for a late drive, he expects to be able to score a touchdown.
Not everyone on the Giants is like that. At least they weren't before Sunday night.
"When you get some new guys, we haven't had a whole lot of guys on this team who have been a part of that from an offensive line, from tight ends to receivers," Manning said in his weekly radio appearance on WFAN Monday evening. "It's new to them. To give them that confidence and give them that expectation that we're about to go score, they might not have it where as in my mind I'm expecting it, I totally feel we're going to score.
