Even though Eli Manning is no longer a player for the New York Giants, he’s remained a mentor to their current starting quarterback Daniel Jones.
“I’m still kind of, seniority thing there,” Manning told The NY Post on Tuesday. “I’ll still buy him lunch for now — until he gets that second contract, then we’ll switch it up.”
Hopefully Jones will reach his second contract with the Giants after an up and down second season. The one thing he still needs to work on is being more consistent when it comes to taking care of the football.
