New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning spoke to reporters on Wednesday for the first time since Ben McAdoo was promoted as Big Blue’s next head coach and once again endorsed him.
“I think coach McAdoo will do a great job,” Manning said. “He really does a wonderful job of holding court in the offensive meetings and getting his point across. I’m excited for that. I think he’s ready.”
Manning addressed how close he believes they are from getting back to the playoffs.
“I think we’re close,” he said. “We have some pieces in place that I’m excited about.
