Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan is one of six NFL players — and only three non-quarterbacks — to start every game since the start of the 2011 season. This is not the only reason Eli Manning must see Kerrigan in his dreams, or nightmares, and hopes to avoid getting run over by him Sunday when the Giants face the Redskins at MetLife Stadium.
Kerrigan has sacked Manning more times — nine — than any other player. The nine sacks have come in 14 games. He also has 12 quarterback hits on Manning.
“The one thing about Kerrigan is, he’s tough and he’s relentless and he keeps coming,’’ Giants coach Pat Shurmur said.
