The exodus has begun at 1925 Giants Drive. Mike Sullivan, the resourceful assistant coach and part of Tom Coughlin’s original 2004 staff, has moved on and is headed to Denver.
Sullivan, 50, is the new Broncos quarterbacks coach, according to the Denver Post. He was the Giants offensive coordinator the past two seasons, taking over the play-calling from Ben McAdoo in Week 6 this past season, directing the offense in a 23-10 victory over, coincidentally, the Broncos in Denver, breaking a season-opening, five-game losing streak.
Sullivan was Eli Manning’s quarterbacks coach in 2010-11 and again in 2015 following a two-year stay as the Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator.
