Eli Manning, Kerry Wynn shine in New York Giants first win of 2018

They delivered, earning their first victory of the season under head coach Pat Shurmur. New York Giants veteran quarterback Eli Manning silenced his critics with his play on the field, leading Big Blue to a 27-22 Week 3 win.

Manning and Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley got off to a hot start in the first half, scoring 20 points both through the air and on the ground. Shurmur’s decision to start Chad Wheeler at right tackle over Ereck Flowers paid off early, but the NFL’s three-time Defensive Player of the Year, J.J. Watt, took advantage of the mismatch in the second half.
