FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Eli Manning has something in common with all those Patriots fans in the New England area: He’s glad Tom Brady will be playing at the start of this season.
“I’m happy for Tom, I know it’s probably been a stressful offseason and few months,’’ Manning said Thursday night following the Giants’ 12-9 preseason-ending victory over New England. “[I’m] happy he’s back playing, he’ll be able to play next week.’’
Brady’s four-game suspension was overturned by Judge Richard Berman.
“I don’t think anything surprises me, saw that it got overturned, I know he’s been dealing with a lot so I’m glad he gets to play,’’ Manning said.
