Giants chairman Steve Tisch knows his team is currently dealing with some issues, but he doesn’t believe Eli Manning is one of them.
Tisch, whose family was being honored Friday night in Manhattan at the Jay Fund Champions for Children Gala, defended the 35-year-old quarterback and said age hasn’t contributed to Manning’s struggles, adding he expects the veteran to put on a throwback performance Sunday against the Ravens.
“I don’t feel that Eli is getting older professionally. He is older like we’re all getting older, but I don’t feel like it’s impacted his game, his ability, his talent this season,” Tisch said.
