Eli, Giants let another win slip away, lose to Falcons

FALCONS 24, GIANTS 20

The Giants made NFL history - for all the wrong reasons - on Sunday.

For the second straight week, the Giants again proved they have perfected the art of snapping defeat from the jaws of victory.

And oh the irony. Last week, on the advice from Eli Manning, the Giants actually tried not to score a late TD to put the game away. Sunday, the Falcons actually scored a late touchdown to seal the Giants’ 24-20 defeat.

Thanks to another fourth-quarter meltdown, the Giants became the first team in NFL history to blow a double-digit lead in the first two games of the season, wasting a big day (7 catches, 146 yards) from Odell Beckham Jr.
