EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants took the field at the start of Sunday’s game with two changes. Kerry Wynn was in for the injured Olivier Vernon at defensive end and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was in instead of Eli Apple with two cornerbacks on the field.
Apple didn’t make an appearance on any of the first three drives. Ross Cockrell, whom the Giants acquired in a trade before the start of the season, was on the field in his place.
Make no mistake, this was intentional.
