NEW YORK (WFAN) — Eli Apple said he was somewhat surprised the Giants selected him with the 10th overall pick at last week’s draft, but he’s happy with the results.
“I was very excited,” the former Ohio State cornerback told WFAN’s Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Friday. ” … This is a great organization to go to and just ecstatic just to get to work.”
Apple said he didn’t know what to expect when he arrived for the draft April 28 in Chicago.
