EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The number of Giants players who will participate in the Pro Bowl doubled today.
Cornerback Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie and kicker Josh Brown were added to the Pro Bowl roster. They replace a pair of New England Patriots, cornerback Malcolm Butler and kicker Stephen Gostkowski, both of whom cannot participate in the game because of injury.
DRC and Brown will join two teammates, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and quarterback Eli Manning, at the Pro Bowl, which will be played Sunday in Honolulu.
Rodgers-Cromartie will be the first Giants cornerback to play in the Pro Bowl since Mark Haynes made the last of his three consecutive trips in 1984 (Reyna Thompson was selected as a special teams player in 1990).
