MIAMI GARDENS – It did not take Damontre Moore long to find a new NFL home.
The Dolphins claimed the former Giants defensive end on Monday, but the move will not become official until Tuesday, meaning Moore will not have a chance to suit up in Monday night’s Giants-Dolphins game at Sun Life Stadium.
Moore was abruptly waived Friday by the Giants after he got into an altercation with teammate Cullen Jenkins over a pair of free headphones given out by Odell Beckham Jr. Moore also reportedly had words with general manager Jerry Reese and coach Tom Coughlin, which surely signaled the end of the line for Moore, who now qualifies as a Giants draft bust.
