DAVIE, Fla. -- The season is over for the Miami Dolphins (5-8), but running back Lamar Miller has a chance to pull off an impressive individual feat.
Miller can become Miami’s first back-to-back 1,000-yard rusher in the past dozen years. Ricky Williams last accomplished the feat for the Dolphins in 2002 and 2003.
Miller needs just 231 rushing yards in the final three games. The goal is within reach, considering he’s averaging 5.1 yards per carry this season.
“I’d love Lamar to get a thousand yards; I think that’s a great accomplishment,” Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill said.
