In many respects the New York Giants franchise is on borrowed time at QB. Despite the fact that Eli Manning’s skill set remains in decline, at least the team has not endured a roller coaster at the position. Manning’s durability in playing game-after-game cannot be discounted as a positive attribute at quarterback.
Thankfully, Manning has remained healthy because the turnstile of quarterbacks going through East Rutherford since 2004 was nothing to write home about. Outside of Kyle Lauletta, Davis Webb and Ryan Nassib, Big Blue has also suited up Curtis Painter, Rhett Bomar and Josh Johnson.
