He inked Nate Solder to a record-setting contract and used Big Blue’s second-round pick on Will Hernandez. Both will take over starting roles on the left side of the New York Giants offensive line.
Big Blue did lose two of their top offensive linemen in free agency this offseason. Both Justin Pugh and Weston Richburg signed five-year deals with new teams. Yet New York’s offensive line is still unquestionably better than they were a year ago.
The Giants had one of the league’s worst offensive lines last season. Losing both Pugh and Richburg to season-ending injuries didn’t make it easier.
