Pat Shurmur has not specifically named any of the changes he decided upon after conducting a self-scout of the struggling offense during the Giants' bye week.
But the game film revealed one for him.
Fullback Eli Penny played a season-high seven offensive snaps and made two catches for 12 yards in last week's win against the 49ers after playing only 22 total offensive snaps in his first six games since joining the Giants.
"Eli is just getting used to what we're doing — more familiar and being able to do more things with him and not just kind of have him as a lead-blocker, so that helps," offensive coordinator Mike Shula said.
