Dallas Cowboys defensive end Damarcus Lawrence has enjoyed trolling Eli Manning of the New York Giants the past couple of seasons.
There was this via Twitter two seasons ago when the Giants drafted Saquon Barkley rather than Sam Darnold or another quarterback:
“Here’s to the @Giants NOT drafting a QB. #ILikeEli#KeepEli”
This season, in advance of the Giants-Cowboys season opener, Lawrence said
“You dream of nights like this: Sunday Night Football, all the lights, No. 10 just sitting back in the pocket.”
Well, the Giants have a new quarterback now, and while being as diplomatic toward Manning as he could perhaps bring himself to be, Lawrence referred to rookie Daniel Jones a “little Manning.
