Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara, who was burned by Julio Jones to set up the winning touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Falcons, was grateful for the quick turnaround leading up to Thursday night's game against the Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium.
Amukamara got an early shot at redemption and came up with a key interception that helped the Giants set the tone in their 32-21 victory.
"I definitely thought about [getting beaten by Jones] when I got the pick, because that was the last play that I left on the field [Sunday],'' Amukamara said. "And it's like when you play basketball -- well, when I play basketball, I like to make the last shot, just so I leave on a good note.
