The New York Giants might have hoped that they were getting healthier as the regular season approached. Unfortunately that doesn’t quite seem to be the case, as players are once again dealing with injuries as the Giants prepare for the final preseason game.
The most notable is rookie wide receiver Darius Slayton who is once again dealing with a hamstring issue.
Slayton has already missed most of the month of August with a hamstring injury suffered at the beginning of training camp. The Giants were high on Slayton coming in to camp after a strong off-season of work, but his hamstring injury has kept him from getting valuable reps.
