New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is not expected to start training camp on the PUP list, per a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
As Rapoport notes, Jones starting camp as active and “not on any kind of list” is a mark of how well his rehab from the torn ACL that ended his 2023 season has gone.
There was concern earlier in the offseason that Jones not only wouldn’t be ready for camp, but might miss games to start the season. However, as the offseason program wore on, we’ve gotten to the point where it isn’t a huge surprise that Jones is starting camp on the active roster.
