Daniel Jones was out of the walking boot and out on the field Wednesday, practicing for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain 10 days earlier.
The Giants’ franchise quarterback is preparing to play Sunday against the Dolphins. He just isn’t prepared to declare he’ll be ready to return that soon.
“I feel good. I’m healing quickly and I just gotta keep doing what I’m told to do in the training room and try and get out there as soon as I can,” Jones said after a limited session. “It’s still a process. I wouldn’t say it’s all the way there, but I do feel a lot better.
