Signing NFL draft picks has been a much easier process since the new collective bargaining agreement was introduced in 2011. With salaries predetermined for each draft slot, there's little room for negotiation.
As a result, the first member of the Giants' 2017 rookie class signed his contract less than two weeks after the draft. Second-round pick Dalvin Tomlinson signed on Wednesday, according to his agents.
