The quest for improvement at the right offensive tackle position continues for the New York Giants, as Eugene Monroe retired from the NFL, in a July 21, 2016 post on The Players’ Tribune. Monroe was seen as an option to bolster the right side of the offensive line, as the G-Men continue to fret about what continues to be a potential trouble spot for the team heading into the 2016 season.
According to the talent evaluation website, Pro Football Focus, the Giants should be concerned as incumbent right tackle, Marshall Newhouse, was graded 34.
