The Cowboys are making life a little more miserable for Eli Manning.
After sacking the Giants quarterback seven times last year — including six in one game at AT&T Stadium — the Cowboys were close to beefing up their defensive line Thursday by nearing a trade for pass rusher Robert Quinn from the Dolphins, NFL Network reported.
The 6-foot-4, 257-pound Quinn has 69 sacks across eight seasons, with 6.5 coming last season in Miami. He will agree to a new one-year deal with the Cowboys, according to the league’s network, to help make the trade happen, likely in exchange for a future late-round pick.
