For the second year in a row, the New York Giants will not be facing Dallas Cowboys pass rushing defensive tackle David Irving when the two teams play their first game in week two.
That’s because, for the second year in a row, Irving has been suspended for the first four games of the season for a failed drug test. Although in one difference between this year and last, this year he failed for violating the NFL’s “Substances of abuse” policy, whereas last year he tested positive for a performance enhancing substance.
