Corey Coleman tears ACL in Giants debacle

If the Giants were already down to their last man at receiver, they are now street beggars.

Corey Coleman suffered a torn ACL during practice on Thursday, the team announced. Coleman, who had been the presumed No. 3 receiver behind Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard, is now expected to miss the entire season. Shepard fractured his thumb on Thursday and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

The Giants will now have to turn to some combination of Cody Latimer and Russell Shepard, or perhaps fifth-round pick Darius Slayton, to fill the void. After trading Odell Beckham Jr.
